17 June This Father’s Day Sunday was dedicated to the Youth Amateur Talent springboard of the Conservatory in Cergy-Pontoise Regional Standing, which showcased the talent of a young engineer, Stéphane Oudet. The level was remarkable, proving the high quality of teaching at this national institution, the flagship of the region’s musical education. Among all the young talents, who may one day become true professionals, the public gave Stéphane Oudet a standing ovation for his Rachmaninoff “sonata” and his Keith Jarrett “impromptu“, as well as Julien Cohen for his beautiful rendition of Ravel’s “L’Alborada del Gracioso“. The audience was visibly delighted with this Festival initiative. To be seen again next year!
