Father of 3 children and working for LVMH in Operations Management, Stéphane well knows the difficulty of juggling competing passions. From a very young age, he knew he was not prepared to reduce music to a pastime to exclusively pursue a corporate career known for long hours and consuming work. Classically trained from the age of seven, Stéphane inspires a fresh love of music with his passion for piano.
Inspired by classical greats, particularly of the Romantic period (Rachmaninov, Chopin), and contemporary heavyweights (Tigran Hamasyan, Keith Jarrett, Michel Camilo, Oscar Peterson), Stéphane continues to chase the ultimate expression of musical emotion. He has given many recitals and private concerts and worked with outstanding musicians such as Roger Muraro (classical), Thierry Escaich (improvisation) and Omar Sosa (jazz).
A relative latecomer to the world of jazz, Stéphane is known for his improvisational and energetic interpretation of the standards. While he usually performs as a solo artist, Stéphane has played in duos (piano/vocalist and piano/saxophonist), in quartet (piano/ saxophone/ drums/ bass) as well as in groups with rhythm and percussionists (djembe, congo).
Stéphane’s compositions are for solo piano and four hands. Sensitive and intuitive, his original music and improvisations are influenced by his classical roots and love for jazz, and often blend latin and pop influences.
Today, Stéphane varies his performances with classical concerts and competitions, as well as jazz gigs and concerts.
Notable performances include “Tribute to Ella” Jazz Trio Concert at 38 Riv’, Paris (France 2021), International Classical music Piano Competition at Mairie du 16ème, Paris (France 2016), the Youth Talent Opening Concert at Festival Auvers-sur-Oise (France, 2012) and “History of Jazz” piano solo concert at the Château de Carneville (France, 2015).
